Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test

CVRT North Dublin
CVRT or The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test is a roadworthiness test for all commercial vehicles, buses with more than eight passenger seats and ambulances, all over one year old. The CVRT confirms that a vehicle satisfies basic safety standards on the day the test is carried out. It tests what is accessible and visible. It does not confer a warranty as regards the condition of the vehicle.
Before you can legally drive your vehicle on Irish roads, it must pass its Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (CVR) test. This is a requirement of the following vehicles when they are one year old and annually after that: commercial goods vehicles, commercial goods trailers, comercially used fast tractors, buses with more than eight passenger seats, ambulances.
